Medical crystal microdermabrasion is a professional, in-office exfoliation treatment that uses fine crystals to gently resurface the outermost layer of the skin. Unlike spa versions, we work with Mattioli Engineering, one of the pioneering Italian brands in crystal microdermabrasion technology.
This medical approach allows for greater precision, customization, and control, and is always performed by trained providers to ensure both safety and meaningful results. With no downtime, this treatment is ideal for improving dull or uneven skin tone, rough texture, mild acne and congestion, and fine lines. It is also an excellent pre-treatment skin prep to enhance results from chemical peels or laser procedures.

A medical-grade facial that uses a patented machine to cleanse, exfoliate, extract, and hydrate your skin. Think deep clean + glow without the downtime. Great before events, laser prep., Acne, clogged pores and dullness.

The Juvesonic / Juvasonic® device is a handheld professional tool designed to enhance the absorption of topical serums (like exosomes) into the skin using sonic vibration technology—without needles. Exosomes are tiny cell-derived vesicles loaded with signaling molecules like growth factors and proteins that help skin cells communicate and repair. This facial helps to promote regeneration, hydration, and anti-aging effects.

A chemical peel uses a chemical solution applied to the skin to deliberately exfoliate and remove layers of old, damaged skin. As the treated skin peels off over time, newer, smoother, more even skin appears. This process can improve texture, tone, and clarity. Here at The West Institute, we offer light and medium depth peels.  

At The West Institute, we use a glass tip and hands for lymphatic drainage massage. The glass tip helps glide smoothly while applying very light, rhythmic pressure to move lymph fluid.

Dermaplaning is a professional, in-office exfoliation treatment that uses a sterile medical-grade blade to gently remove dead skin cells and fine vellus hair (“peach fuzz”) from the surface of the skin. This controlled technique reveals a smoother, brighter complexion and allows skincare products to absorb more effectively. Dermaplaning is also an excellent pre-treatment prep for chemical peels, lasers, and other advanced procedures, helping treatments penetrate more evenly and perform better.
It is especially beneficial for dull or uneven skin tone, rough texture, superficial congestion, and the appearance of fine lines. Skin looks immediately smoother and more radiant, making dermaplaning a favorite for both routine maintenance and event-ready skin.
An oxygen facial is a professional, in-office treatment that delivers concentrated oxygen and targeted serums directly into the skin using specialized air-pressure technology. This process helps deeply hydrate the skin, support circulation, and enhance overall skin radiance without irritation or downtime.
Performed by trained providers, oxygen facials are ideal for dull, dehydrated, stressed skin, or acne prone skin as well as for calming post-procedure redness or inflammation. Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that creates controlled micro-injuries in the skin to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing response and collagen production. Treatment depth and protocols are tailored to individual skin concerns, making microneedling a versatile option for overall skin rejuvenation.

This acne facial is tailored specifically for acne prone skin with active breakouts. Deep cleansing, extractions, a chemical peel tailored to each individual skin type, a calming anti-inflammatory mask, and a LightStim infrared LED treatment are all included in this results-oriented acne treatment.

This anti-aging Medical Facial is tailored specifically for men. Deep cleansing, extractions, chemical peeling or microdermabrasion, an oxygen treatment and LightStim® LED therapy leave the skin retexturized while hydrating and improving the appearance of fine lines and pores.

The Melanage Micro Peel is our lighter version of the Melanage Mini Peel, designed to target skin tone by lightening and brightening. For individuals with persistent hyperpigmentation, including melasma, the Melanage Micropeel is peel ideal for maintenance, alternating with the Melanage™ Minipeel or on its own to brighten and leave the skin glowing.

An exfoliating dermaplane treatment followed by medical grade oxygen which is infused with vitamin c, amino acids, and antioxidants to plump up and hydrate the skin. Our LightStim LED is applied at the end to stimulate collagen and elastin, improve pore size and reduce inflammation. Dermaglow leaves the skin hydrated and glowing.
