woman receiving microblading treatment

What Is Microblading?

Immediately after microblading, patients may experience slight redness and mild swelling. They may resume all normal activities, except those that could expose brows to moisture.

Accordingly, you should avoid workouts that cause sweating and washing your face with water for one week. Failure to shield brows from moisture could result in a loss of pigmentation.

Additionally, it’s recommended that patients forgo eye makeup as their brows heal from microblading and use Vaseline to alleviate any itching.

How Long Do Results Last?

Results from microblading can last one-to-three years, and, during this time, pigment will naturally change and fade. However, annual touch-ups can help preserve treatment benefits.

If you want to achieve semi-permanent brow definition and fullness with microblading, please call our office today to schedule a consultation with Chelsea Heidenberger, our experienced Medical Aesthetician.
