Botox for Grooms
It is every girl’s dream to look perfect on their wedding day. But grooms are now fixing themselves up like never before.
This includes treatments such as Botulinum Toxin (Botox), Dysport and Xeomin (Xeo-man). And the New York Times wrote “Guybrows” and “Manlycures” are gaining popularity as well.
Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Sanjay Grover says it’s the guys’ fiancé and spouse encouraging them. Real men take care of themselves, after all.
Men are also getting injections in the same “problem areas” as their female counterparts: their forehead, frown area and under their eyes.
“I believe that there is much more awareness of the options available today that are non-surgical,” said Dr. Grover.
“They can provide for a much younger, refreshed appearance and this has encouraged many more men to seek treatments.”
It is no coincidence as procedures have become less invasive, more patients are giving cosmetic work a shot. The general public is also more exposed to the world via networks like Facebook and Instagram now more than ever.
And the rich and the famous are beginning to share their tips to looking fabulous.
“With media and social media,” said Dr. Grover, “there is much more exposure about celebrities and the treatment they may seek and men are becoming much more aware of these options.”
Brotox isn’t for every bro, but every lady wants a sharp-looking groom waiting for her at the end of the aisle.
