Spurred by the claims of multiple celebrities, including Khloe Kardashian, that it was their secret to a killer body, she was intrigued.
Coolsculpting Is Not a Weight Loss Procedure
First, Dilluvio went to the Comprehensive Dermatology Office of Pasadena to discuss the upcoming procedure. The consultant made sure to explain to her that CoolSculpting wasn’t a weight loss procedure, but a way to get rid of problem areas.
CoolSculpting freezes fat cells–killing them–and eventually your body clears them through your lymphatic system.
Secondly, she explained that to be a good candidate, your fat needs to be pinchable as opposed to hard — because it needs to be suctioned into the machine. This is less true now, as more modern CoolSculpting applicators are made to be able to treat a more diverse set of individuals and areas on said individuals.
The Treatment Itself
Eventually, Dilluvio agreed to treat specifically her stomach.
Each section of her stomach was sectioned for an hour, for a total of three hours. Dilluvio herself describes the experience of CoolSculpting as having her stomach “suctioned into a fat-freezer” and “being stung and having Icy Hot simultaneously rubbed on.”
The recovery period, meanwhile, wasn’t painless, but she was able to continue on with her normal activities and even go to the gym.
So what were the results?
Even Ten Days After the Procedure, Her Stomach Was Flatter
Amazingly, despite the fact that CoolSculpting can take a few months to show the full results, even in 10 days Dilluvio saw that her skin had tightened, her stomach was flatter, and the areas around it were flatter.
Given the confidence boost that CoolSculpting gave her she’d 100 percent do it again.
