Hispanic Heritage Month: Beauty Secrets from Hollywood A-Listers

It’s hard keeping up with a good skincare routine–especially when you’re a busy Hollywood A-Lister.

In the spirit of celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month, we took a look at some well-known musicians, actresses and models and found out what they swear by to keep their skin glowing.

Pop singer, Demi Lovato is a firm believer in using a good sunscreen and reapplying throughout the day.

Lovato, who owns her own skincare line, also stresses following one simple rule–drink lots of water.

“I drink a lot of water,” said Lovato (via Allure).

America Ferrera also agrees that water can do wonders for your skin.

“Once I started drinking more water, my skin, hair and nails all flourished,” said the Superstore television star (via InStyle).

For many people adopting a skincare routine that works can be challenging and also time consuming. But, for actress Zoe Saldana, getting enjoyment out of taking care of your skin is key.

“I’m actually one of those people that really enjoys taking care of their skin. I don’t see it as work, but really just as part of life, just like brushing your teeth,” said Saldana (via InStyle).

As we get older, sunspots seem harder to keep away, and that’s something that Paulina Rubio can attest to.

“I love the sun, but I can’t tan anymore because I have spots,” said Rubio (via Glam Belleza Latina magazine). “Even if I use sunscreen, the “manchas” still come out,” said Rubio.

IPL is a popular treatment offered at The West Institute which helps with sun spots.

The broad spectrum of light used in IPL Photorejuvenation treatments is absorbed by the target tissue, and is then removed by the body’s natural processes, providing dramatic improvements in the appearance of age spots, sun spots, sun damage, freckles, rosacea and more.
